Paris Orthotics is a family-owned business based in Vancouver. They specialize in custom-made orthotics and foot wellness.

The Red Book is a comprehensive product guide that used to be distributed to existing and potential customers. The last print run dated from the mid 1990s and featured discontinued items and old branding. In conjunction with the lab division’s sale department, and using existing iconography, I created an up-to-date version of the Red Book.

The book’s function guided the layout: it is a piece of technical expertise and therefore needs to retain the sobriety of a medical publication. It also doubles up as an ordering guide. As such, the pages are laid out with comparable items. The horizontal layout allows for easy comparison of the product features.
